Geri England, MEd, MS, CPCC is a leadership strategist who works with executives and their teams in leadership development, performance improvement, team building, communication skills, and coaching. Because of her extensive organizational development and corporate coaching success in a Fortune 100 company, she was the keynote speaker at the 1998 ASTD Benchmarking Forum. She also presented at the 2001 International Appreciative Inquiry Conference and at the 2002 International Coach Federation Australasian Conference in Sydney, Australia. She co-authored "The Gift, An Appreciative Approach to Bringing out the Best in Organizations, Ourselves and Others," "A Practitioner’s Guide to Positive Questions," and the "Coaching Zone" in Coaching for Extraordinary Results, an ASTD In-Action Casebook Series on HRD.

During 20 years of corporate experience, Geri conducted over 200 workshops in change management, organizational development, team building, management and leadership development, sales, career management, and product knowledge. Geri’s team developed "The Coaching Zone" for GTE and Verizon, training 2,000 managers with Geri leading over 25 sessions. She also led a post-merger effort that aligned her business unit’s executives and 8,000 employees with the new company culture, co-developed a corporate university, developed an executive presentation skills program and created a customized new hire sales training program. Prior to GTE and Verizon, Geri held positions at Nortel and SBC. A graduate of the Coaches Training Institute and the Coactive Space Leadership Program, Geri holds a BA in Social Sciences and MEd in Counseling from Texas A&M University at Commerce and an MS in Business and Human Relations from Amberton University.

Leveraging her educational background and real-world corporate experience, Geri quickly gets to the core of issues for individuals, teams, and businesses so they can bridge the gap from where they are to where they want to be. Her clients report greater clarity and awareness of how their perspectives and actions impact the results they get.

Having observed how significantly one’s beliefs inform the future, Geri helps her clients uncover and test their core assumptions and, when appropriate, adopt more useful ones. She sees her role as a partner— helping clients to clarify their vision and stay focused on their strengths and priorities so they can produce the results they seek and achieve their best performance.

Geri is a member of the International Coach Federation, American Society for Training and Development, Association of Career Professionals, and Association for Psychological Type. In 1997, she and her team were awarded the American Society for Training and Development Excellence in Practice Award for using Appreciative Inquiry methods to lead organizational change.
